Sophie Helen Molenda
Born Jan. 30, 1920, she passed away peacefully Nov. 4 in Barrington.
Sophie is survived by her loving grandchildren, Michael (Toni) Skonieczny, Susan (Mike) Legrady, Karen Simon, Jeff (Sue) Braeunig, and Donna (Michael) Hansen; great-grandchildren, Sarah and Christopher Skonieczny, Ryan Legrady, Brandon Furst, Kasey Simon and Candice, Erik, Dakota, Marshall, Colleen, Nicole and Jennifer Hansen; and several great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Erwin; daughters, Helen Kay Braeunig, and Judy Skonieczny; grandchildren; Steven, Curtis and Mark Braeunig and her siblings.
Visitation will be held from 10am until the funeral mass at 11am, Sat. Nov 7 at St. Anne Catholic Church, 120 N. Ela St (corner of Franklin and Ela Sts.), Barrington, followed by burial in St. Adalbert Catholic Cemetery, Niles.
