Stanley Teofil Kreske, 83, of Algonquin, at rest February 13, 2018.
He was born March 7th 1934 in Chicago to the late Frank Krzyzanowski and Mary Krzyzanowski (Sindut).
Stanley recently lost his wife, Josephine, this past November and his family and friends can find solace in the fact that they are together again. After starting a family with Josephine, they lived in Carpentersville, Illinois and then resided in Algonquin, Illinois into his final days. Josephine and Stanley enjoyed traveling together and were virtually inseparable from the time they were married over 60 years ago.
He was always known for his sense of humor, love of old movies and enjoyed working on the house and yard. He could never pass up a good deal and always came to family events with a collection of gizmos and doodads. Stanley was a unique and grand man who will be missed by all whose lives he touched.
Stanley was the proud father of Desiree (Christopher) Lilly and Craig Kreske; beloved grandfather of Josh and Erica Kreske, Rayna and Robert York, Malissa Bader, Vanessa and Ryan Carter, Zach Lilly, and Carissa Kreske; great-grandfather of Jaycee Kreske, Jace Kreske, Johnny Bader-Grode and Wendy Carter.
The memorial visitation will be held Sunday, February 18, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the memorial service beginning at 4:00 p.m. at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E Terra Cotta Ave (Rt. 176) Crystal Lake.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Stanley’s memory may be made to the Dementia Society of America.
