Stella Badalpour

Stella Badalpour, 66, of Lake Zurich, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 1, 2025. She was born in Tehran, Iran on March 14, 1959, to John and Elsie (Khoubiar) Esmail.

Her life took her across the world—from Iran to Australia, then the U.S., back to Australia, and finally back to the U.S. in 2017 to be near her children. Stella was a quiet, gentle soul with a heart full of kindness. She was known for her patience, generosity, and her ability to truly listen. She loved gardening, cooking, decorating, and doing crafts. Her creativity and warmth showed up in everything she did.

She is survived by her children, Ninos Albert Badalpour and Elina Arbella Badalpour, and her siblings, Bella Moore and Emil Esmail. She will be deeply missed. 

A memorial visitation will be held Friday, August 8, from 10 a.m. until the service at 11 a.m. at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 S. Old Rand Rd., Lake Zurich. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery with her precious mother.
