Stephen A. Olken

Stephen A. Olken passed away peacefully November 29, 2024 in Barrington surrounded by his loving family. He was born December 26, 1955 in Chicago to Clayton and Anita Olken.

Steve was formerly on the board of Gifts Ministry of Janesville, WI and was an advocate of homeless people.

Steve is survived by his wife of 37 years, Kathy; children, Christine Olken, and Marcus Andreopoulos; grandchildren, Steliana, and Melina; brother, Robert (Linda) Olken; sister, Geri (late Jim) Morris; sister, Sue (Baris) Demir; and nieces and nephews, Jeremy, Hannah, Brett, and Holly.

Memorial visitation will be from 4pm until the memorial service at 7pm Thursday December 5 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave (Route 176) Crystal Lake.
