Susan Lynn Koehler

Susan Koehler, precious daughter of Richard and Jeanne, passed away peacefully on August 25, 2026 at JourneyCare Hospice in Barrington, Illinois. She was born on March 28, 1968 in Hinsdale, Illinois.

Along with her parents, Susan is survived by aunts and uncles, Joan (John) Dumelle and Joanne Zielinski; cousins, John (Cindy), Debbie (Kurt), Richard, Marc (Nancy), and David; as well as many other loving friends and family members who will miss the light in her eyes.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Henry and Eva Schwenk and Hugo and Nellie Koehler, to whom she brought so much joy; aunt and uncles, Honey (George) Christl, Arthur Zielinski and Henry Schwenk, Jr.

The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff at Park Ridge Care Center for their love and devoted care of Susan while she was residing at their facility. Thank you also to JourneyCare Hospice support team who were there for her in the last year.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2026, beginning at 9 a.m. until the time of Mass at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church, 120 Ela St., Barrington, IL 60010. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Susan honor to Lambs Farm, Attn.: Development Department, 14245 W. Rockland Rd., Libertyville, IL 60048 would be appreciated.
