Susan "Susie" Maureen Girolamo

Susan “Susie” Maureen Girolamo, 62, of McHenry Illinois passed away December 1, 2023. Susie was born in Park Ridge, Illinois to Wayne and Grace Busse.

Susie will always be remembered by her unwavering kindness, a smile that lit up the room as soon as she walked in, and her unconditional, and never ending, love and support.

Susie is survived by her loving husband, Michael Girolamo; children, Dominic (Lauren) Girolamo and Joseph (Lena) Girolamo; her mother, Grace Busse; grandsons, Kayden and Nico Girolamo; brother, Mark (Susan) Busse; nephews, Chad (Vickie) Busse, Kent (Maggie) Busse; nieces, Erin (Wes) Turk, Kira (Andy) Busse; great nieces and nephews, Clara, Charlie, Henry and Jackson. Susie is preceded in death by her father, Wayne Busse; and father and mother-in-law, Don and Charlotte  Girolamo.

Visitation will be held Friday, December 8, 2023, from 4pm until the time of prayers at 7:30pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory 419 E Terra Cotta Ave, Crystal Lake, IL. The following day, Saturday, December 9, 2023, there will be a Funeral Mass at 1130am at The Church of Holy Apostles, 211 Bull Valley Rd, McHenry, IL 60050.
