Suzanne DeRita

Suzanne P. DeRita, a 27-year resident of Tower Lakes, Barrington, passed away surrounded by her loving family on May 30, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born December 13, 1951 to Everett and Mabel Pritchard in Olney, IL. Suzanne graduated from the University of Illinois as well as Texas A&M, and enjoyed a 30-year career in finance at Abbott Laboratories.
In addition to her loving husband, David, Suzanne is survived by her children, Jennifer (Jeff) Heaton, and Toby DeRita; sister, Marianne Witschy; and mother, Mabel Pritchard.
She was preceded in death by her father, Everett Pritchard.
A visitation will be held Sunday, June 2, 2013 from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. with a service beginning at 6 p.m. at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W Main St (Lake-Cook Rd) Barrington, IL 60010.
Inurnment will be private.
