Terrance McAllister

Cary, Illinois,Memorial Visitation for Terrance "Terry" James McAllister, 69, of Cary, will be held on Wednesday, February 17, 2010, from 3pm until the time of Memorial Service at 7:30pm, at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave. (Rte 176), Crystal Lake. Chaplain Chuck Guth will officiate. Born November 15, 1940 he passed away on February 12, 2010. Terry was a retired Bricklayer from Szabo Construction Company. He was involved with Whizzer Motorbikes and published the "Whizzer Newsletter". He enjoyed woodcarving, reading, and collecting antiques, especially old tools. He is survived by his wife Audrey McAllister; children Rick (Diane) McAllister, Terrie Lee (Ken) Lloyd, and Rob McAllister; stepchildren Bob (Vicki) Davis and Lori Rodecker; grandchildren Sarah McAllister, Tonya McAllister, Tyler Lloyd, Tanner Lloyd, Steve (Amanda) McFarland, and Audra Davis; great grandchildren Lena McFarland and Seif McFarland; siblings Marcia, Patricia, and Rory McAllister. He was preceded in death by his parents. In honor of Terry, his family asks that casual attire, especially jeans, be worn to the services at the funeral home.
