Terrance L. Von Bergen

Terrance L. Von Bergen “Terry”, of Fox River Grove, loving husband, father and the best grandpa in the world, died peacefully on July 7, 2023.  He was born in Chicago on July 1, 1948.

Terry is survived by his wife, Peggie; daughter, Amy (Josh); brother, Jim (Kathy); and sister, Candy (Pete).

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Jane; and his brother, Roger (Lillie).

Terry enjoyed watching his grandkids grow and learn new things.  He liked sitting on the front porch and socializing with his neighbors, family, and friends.  He never found a pizza he didn’t like, and he enjoyed building and fixing things in his garage workshop.

He was a longtime member of the Teamsters Union and a proud member of the Fox River Grove Lions Club.  Please consider making a memorial donation to the Fox River Grove Lions Club, P.O. Box 103, FRG, IL 60021.
