Teresa Ann Knaack

Terri Ann Knaack, 63 years of age and resident of Crystal Lake, Illinois, passed away on March 7, 2026, in Palatine, Illinois.

She was born on October 1, 1962, in Elgin, Illinois, to Kurt and Shirley (Noles) Knaack. Terri went on to study education, graduating from Illinois State University with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. She pursued her passion cultivating young minds in the field of Early Leaning Childcare.

In addition to her enthusiasm for teaching, Terri loved romantic comedy movies, arts and crafts, playing bingo, shopping, and spending time with her friends and family.

Terri is survived by her son, Alan J. “AJ” Knaack; mother Shirley Knaack; siblings Joe (Peggy) Knaack, Patti (Tony) Pape, and Sam (Susan) Knaack; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her father, Kurt H. Knaack; grandparents Louis and Fern Knaack & Roscoe and Bettie Noles; and other loving family members.
