Thomas G. Dashiell

Thomas G. Dashiell, of Lake Barrington, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 15, 2025 at the age of 82.

He was born February 26, 1943 in Minneapolis, MN, the son of the late Newton and Marian (Gray) Dashiell.

Tom was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, having served from 1966-1968, and spent 18 months in Vicenza, Italy. His career spanned over 30 years working as an accountant for Sears and Homort Development Company. Additionally, Tom was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Wheaton, IL; chairman of the Black Book Golf Club; and avid bridge player. Above all, Tom will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

Tom is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Marilyn; his children, Aaron (Cynthia) Dashiell of Plano, TX, and Lea (Josh) Langhoff, of Round Lake, IL; and his grandchildren, Mary and Haley Dashiell, and Zachary and Lyra Langhoff.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, David Dashiell.
