Thomas J. Flanagan, of Chicago, passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at the age of 79.
Born November 3, 1936 in Chicago, he was the son of Dennis and Mary (nee Loftus) Flanagan.
Thomas is survived by his children, Thomas (Carol) Flanagan, and Debra (Terry) Hinkle; grandchildren, William and Matthew Flanagan, Briana and Jamie Flanagan, and Bernadette Hinkle; his brother, Edward Flanagan; and sisters, Joan Ruff, Mary (George) Gabriel, and Patricia (Dennis) Williamson.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Barbara; brothers, Dennis, Jack, Jim, Larry, and Mike; and sisters, Margaret and Betty.
The visitation will be held Monday, February 29, 2016 from 4-8 p.m. at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E Terra Cotta Ave., (Rt 176) Crystal Lake. Visitation will continue the following day, Tuesday, March 1, from 9-10 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1023 McHenry Ave., Crystal Lake followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be held at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.
