Thomas George Jurasin passed away peacefully on April 23, 2026, in Barrington, Illinois, with his beloved wife, Linda, by his side. He was born on March 18, 1951, in Central Park, Washington, to Philip and Mary Jurasin.

Tom grew up in Central Park and attended Weatherwax High School (Aberdeen High School). After graduating, he began working for Weyerhaeuser planting trees before moving to Phoenix, Arizona, where he built a career as a pressman and printer. Tom married his first wife Barbara with whom he had two children with, Jesse and Jennifer. He spent 12 years in Phoenix before returning to Olympia, Washington, where he continued his work as a pressman.

In 1998, Tom married his first wife Barbara with whom he had two children, Jesse and Jennifer. In 2023, Tom and Linda relocated to Mundelein, Illinois, to be closer to family, where he remained until his passing.

Tom had a love for the simple pleasures in life. He enjoyed reading, watching hockey and NASCAR racing, and listening to music. He was especially fond of the outdoors, and some of his happiest moments were spent camping with Linda, relaxing by a campfire with a cigar in hand.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Linda of Mundelein, Illinois; son Jesse of Phoenix, Arizona, daughter Jennifer Choate of Phoenix, Arizona, stepson Jason Bryant of Olympia, Washington; stepdaughter Brittanya Bryant (Scott Skibinski) of Hawthorn Woods, Illinois; granddaughter Ava Bryant of Olympia, Washington; and grandson Jayden Skibinski of Hawthorn Woods, Illinois.

Tom will be remembered for his quiet strength, his love of family, and the warmth he brought to those who knew him.
