Thomas B. Trentz, 86, of Lansing, IL passed away peacefully at home on December 5, 2015. He was born March 29, 1929 in Chicago to Anthony and Catherine (nee Walsh) Trentz.
Thomas was a veteran of the U.S. Marines and served during the Korean War. He worked for many years with his wife as a long haul truck driver which gave them the opportunity to see all 48 contiguous states. Thomas was a die-hard Chicago White Sox and Bears fan, enjoyed reading and was a lover of anything chocolate, especially Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups and Wendy’s Frostys.
Thomas will be deeply missed by his devoted wife and caregiver, Lorraine (nee Homerding) Trentz; a son, Bill (Vicki) Valentine; grandchildren, Kimberly, Candis, Christopher (Tanya) and Jennifer Valentine. He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Mary Valentine.
Services and interment will be private.
