Veronica (Cepuch) Wanamaker

Veronica Wanamaker, 95, of Crystal Lake passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2023.  She was born in Pennsylvania on May 10, 1927, to Michael and Mary Cepuch, the fifth of ten children.

On August 31, 1946, Veronica married Laverne Wanamaker.  He preceded her in death in 2014 after 68 years of marriage.

Veronica loved her family and enjoyed the domestic part of homemaking, cooking, cleaning, and caring for those she loved.  Her faith was important to her.

Survivors include her children, George Wanamaker and Thomas (Diane) Wanamaker; grandchildren, Kathryn Wanamaker and Grant (Emma) Wanamaker; great grandchildren, Patrick, Alexandra and Dennis; siblings, Michael Cepuch and Rita Hines.

A mass will be held on Saturday, January 7, at 1:00pm with a visitation to start at 12 Noon at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1023   McHenry Ave., Crystal Lake.   Burial will be held be held privately at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
