Violet May (LaPointe) Haines

Violet May Haines passed away peacefully December 10, 2022.  She was born October 14, 1926 in Barrington to Leo and Clara LaPointe.  Violet was a lifelong resident of Barrington.  She graduated from St. Edward’s Catholic High School in Elgin in 1945 and celebrated her 76th wedding anniversary to her beloved husband Lawrence, Jr. in June.

Surviving are her husband; children, Lawrence III (Jeannine), Guy (Dinora), and Sandra (Matthew); six grandchildren; two step grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 4pm until the prayer service at 7pm Friday December 16 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main St. (Lake Cook Road) Barrington.  Burial will be at 2:30pm Saturday, December 17 at Evergreen Cemetery in Barrington.
