Virginia Teresa Kay

Virginia Teresa Kay, 87, of Barrington, was born on August 21, 1930 to the late Paul and Rose Babilewicz and passed away peacefully on February 12, 2018.

Virginia was a longtime resident and realtor of Barrington. In her youth, she was a world traveler who loved to ski in Austria and Switzerland. She was a lover of the outdoors and her special vacation destination was Washington Island, Wisconsin.

Virginia was the loving wife of the late Leonard Kay; dear mother of Mark (Becky) Kay, Amanda Peppa (Mike Kanavos) and Pamela (Wayne) Gieseke; cherished grandmother of Chelsea Peppa, Laurel Kay, Madison Peppa, Adam Kay and Cole Peppa; sister of the late Eleanore (Ted) Wojciechowski and Irene Billings; aunt of Sandy (Tom) Szarek, Jerry (Ingrid) Wojciechowski; cousin of Tess Pelland; and friend of many.

Services will be held privately for Virginia.
