Virginia L. (Creech) Kelly

Virginia L. Kelly (nee Creech), age 89, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 5, 2023.

Virginia was born on May 5, 1933 in Cumberland, Kentucky. She lived in Indiana for many years where she was married and started her family. After a brief stint in Iowa the family settled here in the metro Chicago area. She was fun-loving and enjoyed every moment that she spent with friends and family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Virginia is survived by her loving children, Cindy (Sue) Smallwood and Lisa (Ken) Hutchinson.

Preceded in death by her beloved 1st husband of 20 years, Jay Smallwood; loving husband of 24 years, Jack Kelly; parents, Grant and Elsie Creech; and siblings, Carol Smith and Charles Creech.

Services for Virginia will be held at the Evangelical Free Church of Crystal Lake on March 24. Visitation starts at 10am with the memorial service at 11am.
