Virginia Richter

Virginia B. Richter, 97, passed away peacefully October 20, 2025 in Barrington. She was born June 4, 1928 in Chicago to Alexander and Barbara Baumgartner.

Virginia is survived by her children, William M. (Karen) Richter, and Mark Richter; grandchildren, Brian and Brittany; and siblings, Robert (Carol) Baumgartner, and Ilafern (late John) Snick. She was preceded in death by her husband, William L. Richter; and siblings, George and Donald Baumgartner, and Marie Kurka.

Visitation will be from 11am until the memorial service at 12pm Tuesday, October 28 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main St. (Lake Cook Road), Barrington. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Barrington.
