Walter Joseph Kalemba

Walter Joseph Kalemba, 91, of the Village of Lakewood, IL passed away June 14, 2023. Walter was born in Chicago, IL on November 18, 1931, to Walter and Mary Kalemba.

Walt is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Barbara (nee Russo) Kalemba; children, Mark Kalemba and Karen (Jim Wise) Petersen; Stepchildren, Nancy (Rich) Wenzel and Jim (Linda) Sales; grandchildren, Danny and Brian Petersen, Meghan Kalemba, Alyssa (Jake) Pridgen, and Megan (Corbin) Pennino, Abigail Wenzel and Theodore Wenzel; great grandchild, Collette Pridgen; and sister, Pauline Server.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 20, 2023, from 830 am until time of prayers 930 am at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E Terra Cotta Ave, Crystal Lake. Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at 10am at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 451 W Terra Cotta Ave, Crystal Lake, IL. Burial will follow at Crystal Lake Memorial Park.
