Yogendrabhai J. Patel

Yogendrabhai Jesangbhai Patel (Dada) passed away peacefully at home on November 3, 2025. He was surrounded by his loved ones, including both of his kids Priti and Bhadresh, his wife Ushaben, and immediate family.

Dada had been struggling with declining health for the past 4-5 months, where he cut off eating and drinking almost entirely. He put up a great fight with a variety of health issues and his strength was admirable. For the past 20+ years, dada has lived in Chicago with his daughter Priti, and her family. They have taken great care of him during the last phase of his life.

Growing up, Dada did his schooling in Kapadvanj and later on acquired a Bachelor in Civil Engineering from M.S. University in Baroda. He held a government position in Public Work Department (PWD) and had a successful career as a Deputy Engineer. He first worked in Kapadvanj, then Ahmedabad, and finally Dakor - eventually retiring in Nadiad. After retiring, he moved to the U.S and lived his life surrounded by those who cared for him deeply.

His passing has opened the door for us to celebrate his life and cherish the memories we have with him. P
