Almeda Schulz

Almeda C. Schulz, 101, a lifetime resident of Crystal Lake, passed away on Dec 28, 2021. She was born on February 27, 1920 to Charles and Emilia (Johnson) Nelson of Crystal Lake who immigrated to the US from Sweden and settled in the Swedenberg area of town.

Almeda married Albert E. Schulz on Aug 17, 1939 in Crystal Lake and remained married 69 years before his passing in 2008. They had one son, Dennis Schulz, born in 1943.

She loved and trusted her Lord, Jesus Christ, prayed faithfully and has now been accepted into his loving arms, as were those who preceded her in death, her husband Albert, her son Dennis, and her siblings Walter Nelson, Vera Nelson, Carl Nelson, Agda Maaske and Violet Mavis. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Debby Schulz, her grandchildren, Jason Schulz and Sarah (Schulz) Nearhoff. and great-grandson, Ben Nearhoff.

A memorial service will be held in the spring, but this is not the end of her story! John 5:28 and 1st Thess 4:16-18
