Anthony "Tony" Corona

Anthony “Tony” Corona, 76, of McHenry passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on September 4, 2019. He was born on April 17, 1943 in Chicago, IL to Augustino Salvatore and Adeline Rose (nee Friedle) Corona.

Tony will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 51 years, Mary Kathryn Corona; children, Amanda Kaye (Mike) Guerten of Cottage Grove, WI; Mitzi Karyl (Chris) Cass of Oconomowoc, WI; Anthony Jr. (Joy) Corona of Silver Lake, WI; grandchildren, Alyssa, Hannah, Chloe, Sammi, Brookelyn, Anthony III, Landon, Aliya; siblings, Charles Corona, Delores (Stan) Smith, Rosemary Weinbrecher and Toni (Ken) Kunde; his furry companion, Sidney; and by many beloved nieces, nephews and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Frances Chase and brother, Gus Corona, sister-in-law, Linda Corona, brother-in-law, Danny Foreman.

Visitation will be Sunday, September 8, 2019, at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave. (Rte. 176), Crystal Lake, IL from 10 AM until 2 PM . A funeral service will follow at 2 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
