Charles J. Swieton

Charles J. Swieton passed away peacefully at his home April 23, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. He was born October 9, 1969 in Waukegan to Kenneth and Bonnie Swieton.

Charlie was a devoted husband and father who worked tirelessly to provide the best for his wife and daughters. He had an incurable optimism long before he had incurable cancer. He will be remembered for his ability to problem solve, his strength and his witty sense of humor. He loved fishing, collecting hot wheels, and anything to do with cars.

Charlie is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Kim; daughters, Kaelyn (Ryan) Melbourn, and Colby (Andrew Beacham) Swieton; granddaughter, Charlotte Beacham; mother, Bonnie Willemarck; brothers, Ken (Diana), and Joe (Joyce) Swieton; sisters, Linda Swieton, and Diane (Steve) Tomasello; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Swieton; step-mother, Ellen Swieton; and step father, Chuck Willemarck.

Visitation will be 4pm until the funeral service at 7:30pm, Tuesday, April 27 at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave (Route 176), Crystal Lake.
