Dale Vanderburg

Dale Vanderburg, 73, of Cary, IL passed away August 11, 2022. He was born August 7, 1949 in Pipestone, MN to the late Joe and Alice Vanderburg.

Dale was a terrific carpenter and remodeler by trade. He was a classic car enthusiast who loved working on cars and hanging out in garage. Dale was a talker who loved keeping up conversation with anyone who had the time; especially his grandchildren, whom he enjoyed sharing stories about his younger days and reminiscing on the “good ole days”.

Dale is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Sandra (nee Sunwall) Vanderburg; children, Allison (Paul) Janke, and Dale Vanderburg Jr.; grandchildren, Izabelle Janke, Jaxson Janke, and Skylar Vanderburg; siblings, Joella (Victor) Steffen, Leanne Appeldorn-March, Doreen (Kyle) Bruhnke, Lynae (Mike) Samson; sister-in-law, Orriel Vanderburg; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Dale is preceded in death by his brothers; Rodney and Jerry Vanderburg; and brother-in-law, Larry March.

Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
