Elizabeth R. Anderson, 95, formerly of Norridge passed away peacefully at her home in Crystal Lake on Saturday morning, January 9, 2021. She was born in Chicago on February 20, 1925.
She is survived by her nephew, Ted Jost; great niece, Jennifer (Karl) Smith; great nephew, Ted Jost, Jr.; nieces, Trudy (the late Arnold) Delveaux and Marlene (Richard) Reynolds and families; and many great nieces and nephews; and her precious dogs, Saddie and Rudy; and dear friends.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, William Anderson and Edward Kegg; sister, Eleanor (Lawrence) Murtaugh; nieces, Patricia Kacer and Rosemarie Hoggan; nephews, Arnold Delveaux, Jr. and Jack Delveaux, Kent Noorlag; and niece, Jayne Delveaux; great nephew Jon Noorlag; and sister-in-law, Phyllis (Arnold) Delveaux.
Aunt Betty loved company and visiting with her family. She was never at a loss for words! Golfing, cooking, cross stitching were at the top of her list of hobbies. She enjoyed volunteering in various organizations in her Norridge community such as the local high school Drum and Bugle Corps, Divine Savior Church, WWII Museum, and a Cub Scout Den Leader.
A celebration of Aunt Betty’s life will be held at a later date.
