Elizabeth Ann Frisch, 69, of Crystal Lake, recently of Sevierville, TN, passed away unexpectedly on February 1, 2023.
Elizabeth was born in Highland Park, Michigan on December 21,1953, to Joan Adele Molitor and Charles Clifford Gale. She later moved to Illinois where she was lovingly raised by her mother and step-father, Joseph Sabon. She attended Larkin High school and later graduated from Elgin Community College with a degree in Nursing. From there she was employed as a NICU nurse at Rush Hospital in Chicago and later at the Hoffman Estates Medical Center. She took great pride in her career and was beloved by both her co-workers and patients. She married the love of her life, Terry, on May 29, 1976, and went on to welcome their son, Matthew, and daughter, Jennifer, who both quickly became the center of her world.
Elizabeth was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She gave endlessly to those she loved and never asked for anything in return. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them and being ever-present in their lives. She especially relished her role as grandma and looked forward to endlessly spoiling her four grandchildren at any given opportunity. In her free time, she could be found doing crossword puzzles, completing sudoku puzzles, watching episodes of Jeopardy, and supporting her husband, children, and grandchildren in all of their endeavors.
Elizabeth is survived by her best friend and loving husband of 46 years, Terry; her beloved children, Matthew (Sara) and Jennifer; her adored grandchildren, Autumn, Parker, Miles, and Mason; and her siblings, Joanne (Doug), Timothy, Michelle, and Steven (Pamela).
She is predeceased by her mother, Joan, father, Charles, and step-father, Joseph.
She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
