Eugene "Gene" A. Mizerka

Eugene A. Mizerka, 73, a 45-year resident of Kildeer, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2021. He was born on November 26, 1947 in Evergreen Park, IL to Eugene D. and Janet Mizerka.

Gene was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He was an electrical contractor for many years with Ray Electric in Chicago. He enjoyed cars, cooking, and the Stock Market.

Gene is survived by his loving wife of almost 50 years, Pat (nee Miceli); daughter, Regina (John) Hope; grandsons, Daniel, Evan, and Nicholas Hope. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by, his sister, Deborah Oblak.

Visitation will be Friday, August 6, 2021 from 9 AM until the time of Mass at 10 AM at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 33 S. Beusching Rd., Lake Zurich, IL 60047. Entombment with military honors to follow at St. Michael Cemetery, Palatine.
