Evelyn Horgan

Evelyn Horgan, 94, of Crystal Lake, was born on March 21, 1927, in Chicago, IL to Alf and Christine Hanetho. On Saturday, October 16th, Evelyn went to be with Jesus. She lived a great life and walked with the Lord for many years. She was involved with South Park Church when her family lived in Skokie and Park Ridge. When she moved to Algonquin, she started attending Village Church of Barrington. For the last few years, she attended Willow Creek Crystal Lake. She loved her family and prayed for each one daily. She will be missed and left a wonderful legacy of faithfulness to the Lord.

She is survived by her children, Ronald Walter Horgan (Karen), Bruce Edward Horgan (Barbara), and Craig Alan Horgan (Sylvia); grandchildren Theron Horgan (Roxy), Mandy Stutts (Kevin), Casey Horgan (Ambri), Christopher Horgan (Kelly), Timothy Horgan (Erika), Hope Brodsky (Peter), Colleen Horgan, Miriam Daubenspeck(Mykal), Xylia Horgan, Katelyn Butler (Jackson), Summer Hernandez (Christopher); great grandchildren Colby Stutts, Logan Stutts , Preston Chaubaud, Emerson Horgan, Addison Horgan, Wrigley Horgan (due February, 2022), Bradley Horgan, Claire Horgan, Barrett Horgan, Elijah Brosky, Lincoln Brosky, Harper Brosky, Jude Daubenspeck, Walter Daubenspeck, Niles Daubenspeck, Larson Hernandez, and another Horgan due in May of 2022.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alf & Christine (Oasheim) Hanetho, her husband, Walter Horgan, her grandson, Jordan Horgan, and her brothers Richard Hanetho, Robert Hanetho, and Clifford Hanetho.

A celebration of life will be held at Willow Creek Community Church Crystal Lake, 100 South Main Street, Crystal Lake, IL, on December 4th with visitation at 10:00 a.m. and an 11:00 a.m. service.
