Gregory A. Bennett

Gregory A. Bennett of Barrington, IL passed away April 29th, 2022 in Barrington.  He was born July 22, 1953 in Evanston, IL.

He received a degree in music composition from the Berklee School of Music in Boston.  He was passionate about his family, his music and traveling.   He spent many hours in his home studio composing music and playing guitar.  He was a friend to all animals.  Above all else, he loved and treasured his family.

Gregory is survived by his loving wife, Mary P. (nee Buerckholtz) Bennett; beloved children, Veronica (Randy) Ray, and Bill Bennett; dear grandson, Felix Ray; fond brother, Dave (Laura) Bennett; and dear nephews Brad and Doug Bennett.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Charleen Bennett.

Services will be private.
