James Anthony Ehrig

Jamie Ehrig passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at his home surrounded by family and friends who loved him dearly.  Jamie was a lifelong resident of Chicago, opening the Martini Ranch in 1991 which was one of the top bars in Chicago for over 20 years, named as  one of the best places for a Martini and hosted many Chicago's top athletes and entertainers over the years.

Jamie will always be remembered for his love of music, motocross, skiing, snowmobiling, cycling, his passion for wood construction and hanging out with his many friends and especially his wife Rose, the love of his life.

Anyone who knew Jamie was touched by his kindness, generosity and intelligent sense of humor.  Jamie is survived by his wife Rose, his mother Jane, stepfather Harold his dog Stella and the hundreds of people whose lives he touched over the years. He is preceded in death by his father Wayne.

A graveside service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery, 610 S. Dundee Ave. Barrington, IL on May 5 at 12 pm.
