James Steven Loewe

James S. Loewe was born March 28, 1955 in Northlake, IL to William and Esther Loewe.  He passed away peacefully April 1, 2021, surrounded by his loving family.

Jim is survived by his wife of nearly 45 years, Colleen; children, Stefine (Adam Rayner) Loewe, and Steven (fiancé Kori Marcum) Loewe; grandchildren, Dominic and Easton Rayner, Matthew McMillan, and Ethan and Amelia Charneski; siblings, William (Pam) Loewe, Mark (Tamaya) Loewe, Paul Loewe, and Linda (William) Whitten; and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Jim was a member of the band Smokehouse.  He was also a member of a local group of Gearheads proudly showing off his restored 1965 Chevey Impala in area car shows.

A memorial service will be held for Jim where all his many friends will be able to remember the fun-loving person that he was.  This service will be held at a later date.
