James "Jim" Dennis Kelly

James (Jim) Dennis Kelly, 68 of Island Lake, IL, formerly from Barrington, IL passed away peacefully on February 8, 2022. He was born on March 31, 1953 in Chicago, IL to John and Delores (nee Thomas) Kelly.

Jim was an electrician for over 35 years and a proud member of IBEW Local 134.

Along with his loving mother, Delores, Jim is survived by his siblings, Judy Kelly Spry, Susan Kelly (the late Neal) Ranstead, Tom (Teri) Kelly and Kathy Kelly (Dave) Murphy; loving nieces and nephews, Kevin (Morgan) Spry, Nick (Sam Saffell) Spry, Charlie (Bridget Koessler) Spry, Tom (Anna) Kelly, Tiffany Kelly (Logan) Swalls, Tara Kelly (Alexander) Breytenbach, and Jessica Ranstead; and his adoring grand-niece and nephews, MacKenzie Kelly, Bodhi Spry, Luke Swalls and has two more grand-nephews on the way.

Jim was preceded in death by his father, John Kelly and brother-in-law, Neal Ranstead.

A celebration of Jim’s Life will be held at the Lake Barrington Shores Lodge, 64 Old Barn Road, Lake Barrington, IL 60010, on Friday, June 10th from 4 PM until 9 PM.
