Obituary

Jamie Alan Stadler, age 43, passed away peacefully on Wednesday March 15, 2023.

Jamie was born in Elgin, IL on April 9, 1979. He was a proud father to his beloved daughter Krista Stadler, of whom he was extremely proud of her many accomplishments. One of the proudest moments for Jamie was becoming a grandfather to JC. He loved nothing more than spending time riding JC on his shoulders, playing his favorite games, taking him on train rides, and making funny face pictures.

He was an avid Bears and Cubs fan and attended as many games as he could. He had many traditions and rituals he believed would lead his beloved Bears to victory.  Anyone that ever watch a game with him had to follow these rituals as well - whatever chair or place you sat for the last game is where you had to sit the next game. He was always the one to crack the best jokes, quick witted and the life of the party. He carried himself with a confidence that could easily intimidate a stranger but, anyone that knew him, knew he was a big teddy bear with a huge heart.

Jamie was an entrepreneur and started his own custom restoration business and worked hard to develop relationships with his customers. He had a huge following for his work of restoration and an even bigger following with his work in the entertainment industry. He met and worked with many prominent people including Steve McMichael and Vanilla Ice. His business networking was spot on as well as his work ethic which led him to meet many famous people with the most recent being Conor McGregor, Marcus Robinson, Jarrett, Brittney and Connie Payton. He also met many musical acts such as Alien Ant farm, Seven Mary Three, 12 Stones, Crazy Town, Saliva, Keith Van Horn and most of the 1985 Super Bowl winners the Chicago Bears.

Jamie is survived by his loving daughter, Krista Stadler; treasured grandson, JC Stadler; parents, Curt and Joann Stadler; siblings, Dawn (Sandy) Meade, David (Jennifer) Dennis, Christina Riforgiate, Curtis Stadler, and Chad Stadler; Nephews, Dean, Payton, Logan, Andrew, Tony, Scotty, and Ayden; nieces, Gina, Alexis, Madison, and Rylea; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Preceded in death by:  Antonia Young (grandmother), Jeff Young (uncle), Steve Stadler (uncle) Joe Irwin (Uncle), Melissa Mowery (cousin), Skip Mowery (uncle), Carl Stadler (Grandfather), Josephine Schabacker (Walley) (Grandmother), Joe Irwin Sr. (grandfather).
