Jeffrey Foyle Monahan

Jeffrey F. Monahan, age 67, passed away on July 5th, 2021 at his home in Village of Lakewood, IL from a sudden heart attack. Jeff was born on September 13, 1953 in Portland, Oregon.

Jeffrey was a loving husband to his wife Pamela Monahan for 22 years. Beloved father to Reza and Armeen Monahan, Nicole Magrisso and Eric Clausen. Dear son of the late Molly and Glenn Monahan. Loving brother to James Monahan, (late) Gary Monahan and Maureen West.  Brother-in-law to (late) Gale Romano, Diane Zdeb and John Zdeb.  Also loved by his large family including many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Jeffrey was a well-educated and fun-loving individual. He was a very dedicated sports fan, faithful to the Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears.  He had numerous friends and family that will never forget his quick wit, humor, loving personality and penmanship. He loved his dogs, most recently Cosmo and Kramer.

Jeff received his MBA in Business Admin, MPA Public Admin, undergrad in Prelaw and Urban Planning and Urban Studies from Portland State University. He had a long successful career in the Railroad Industry as Vice President of Labor Relations.

A visitation and celebration of life will be held on Saturday July 17th, 2021 at Davenport Funeral Home – 419 E Terra Cotta Ave, Crystal Lake, IL starting at 12:00 pm and ending at 2:00 pm. From 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm there will be a memorial service held. Flowers or donations to the American Diabetes Association are welcomed.
