Joan M. (Whyte) Marsh

Joan M. Marsh (nee Whyte), age 70, passed away peacefully on Sunday May 15, 2022 with her loving family by her side.

Joan was born in Chicago, IL on December 27, 1951. She enjoyed quilting, crafts, and ceramics. Joan was an animal lover but her greatest joy in life was the time she spent with her beloved family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Joan is survived by her beloved husband, Gerald Marsh; loving children, Brent (Mary) Marsh and Megan Marsh; cherished grandchildren, Thomas, Jensen, Genevieve, William, and Charles; sister, Patricia (Richard) Johnson; brother, Richard (Sherry) Whyte; sister-in-law, Nancy Fossier; nephews, Steve (Jenny) Johnson, Michael Whyte, David Whyte, Rob (Donae) Chramosta; nieces, Amy (Bill) Chramosta-Hoppin, Cassie (Jason) Fossier-Polidoro; and great-nieces Olivia, Maria, and Bella.

Preceded in death by her parents, William, and Dorothy Whyte.

A visitation for Joan will be held on Thursday May 26, 2022 from 4pm until 8pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave. Crystal Lake, IL. A funeral service will be held the following morning at 10am at Bethany Lutheran Church 76 West Crystal Lake Avenue, Crystal Lake, IL.
