John M. Zaucha "JZ"

John M. Zaucha “JZ”, 69 of Algonquin, born November 15, 1951 to the late Stanley and Tessie Zaucha, died on December 31, 2020. John was the loving husband of Rosemary (nee Fedosena) for 46 years; beloved father of Stephanie (Timothy) Chambers and Matthew (Jessica Goodwin) Zaucha; cherished grandpa of Alexandra Zaucha, Kendall Chambers and Easton Chambers; dear brother of Michael (Sharon) Zaucha and James (Barb) Zaucha; and uncle of Rebecca Zaucha, Ashley Wise and Kimberly Zaucha. John was an avid reader, an accomplished distance runner, and a passionate fan of the Chicago Bears. He enjoyed playing golf with close family and friends. He never missed an opportunity to share his expertise in carpentry and construction especially while assisting his kids on home projects. He cared deeply about environmental causes and was a lifelong learner of the sciences. More than anything, John loved and lived for the time he could spend with his family. Services will be held privately for the family.
