Kathleen Mila (McSherry) Ferguson

Kathleen Mila Ferguson, 74, of Barrington passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday, January 7, 2021.  She was born in St. Louis, MO on July 28, 1946 to James McSherry and Mila Clark.

She is survived by her children, Melinda (Kristopher) Burghard, Kevin (Karin) Ferguson and Alison Ferguson; grandchildren, Benjamin and Lucas Burghard, Jack Ferguson, Ethan and Lana Molzahn and Brooklyn Ferguson Blackwell; sisters, Marita Sension and Patricia (Bill) McClimans; and many nieces and nephews.

Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Dennis Ferguson.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and a friend to many.  She was actively involved in her community and a part of many clubs and organizations; one of her favorites being the Garden Club.   Kathleen enjoyed her time down in Florida during the winter months and being actively involved in her grandchildren’s lives.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date when we are able to safely gather  in groups again.
