Kenneth J. Stobart, 77, of North Barrington, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully at home on April 3, 2020. He was born on November 14, 1942 in Chicago to the late Kenneth and Florence (nee Carso) Stobart.

He attended Southern Illinois University where he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business. After graduation, he married Karen Watkins on April 16, 1966. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army, where he served during the Vietnam War. Kenneth was a co-owner of K&M Printing in Schaumburg, since 1974, with his two brothers. He built a thriving business where customers and employees are treated like family. He was a member of St. Francis de Sales Church in Lake Zurich as well as a member of Wynstone Golf Club.

In addition to his loving wife, Karen, Kenneth will be deeply missed by his loving children, Kimberly (Robert) Klett, Keith (Sheryl) Stobart, Kerri (John) Murphy. He was the beloved “Poppy” to his grandchildren, Robert and Brandon Klett, Maxwell, Addyson, Zoe, Tessa and Reid Stobart, Thomas and Kenneth Murphy. He is also survived by his siblings, Elaine (Terry) Watkiss and Richard (Ann) Stobart, and by many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Kenneth Paul Stobart; and his siblings, Christine Arendarczyk and Michael Stobart.

A celebration of Kenneth’s life will be held at a later date.
