Laura M. Becker

Laura M. Becker, of Lake Zurich, IL. formally of Watersmeet MI., passed away peacefully at home on May 7, 2019 at the age of 93. She was born on July 3, 1925 in Saskatchewan, Canada to Joseph and Alta (nee Cochran) Wilson.

Laura was a member of VFW Auxiliary Post #3579, Daughter of the American Revolution, and was a member of the Historical Society of Watersmeet, MI. She also enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and fishing with Otto.

Laura will be deeply missed by her brother Allan (Lorraine) Wilson and sister Iona Ames. Son Allen (Helen) Becker of Las Vegas, NV., and Son Richard (Anne) Becker of Lake Zurich; grandchildren, Christopher (Holly) Becker, Daniel Becker, Elizabeth (Daniel) Moshinski, Melissa (Kevin) Farin, Cari (David) Carlino, and Angela (Ron) Carlstrom; great-grandchildren, Lily, Kate, Lucy, Joseph, Kylie, and Nathan Becker, Ryan, Luke and Olivia Moshinski, Hudson and Addison Farin, Grace and Ashley Carlino, Jared, Margaret and Trevor Carlstrom.

She was preceded in death by her husband Otto, her sister Vivian (Winfred) Johnson, brother Leonard (Norma) Wilson, brother Earl Wilson, and brother in law Marion Ames.

A Celebration of Laura's Life is currently pending but will be held at a later date.
