Mary Catherine Casey, 84, of Island Lake, born on Nov. 29, 1934 passed away peacefully on Sept. 3, 2019.

Loving mother of Kevin (Shelley), Charlene (Lenny) Gaul, Catherine Pozzie, Martin (Jennifer), Eileen (Butch) Novak, Terri Brummer, Robert (Brenda) and Edward (Shelley); proud grandmother of Kelly (Jeff) Brincat, Kyle (Ellen) Casey, Lenny (Jessie) Gaul, Erin (Brenden) Cannon, Nicole (Beau) Choudoir, Anthony Pozzie III, Thomas Pozzie, Michael (Mandy) Casey, June Casey, Becca Casey, Steven (Tami) Novak, Nick (Laura) Novak, Ryan (Tara) Brummer, Max Brummer, Casey Brummer, Noah Casey, Evan Casey, Chloe Casey, Joshua (Breanna) Casey, Lauren (Zach) Brobst, Robert Casey, Kadie Casey, Tristan Casey, Alleigha Casey, Kameron Casey; cherished great-grandmother of Camille, Sophia, Francesca, Roman, Isabel, Grayson, Emily, Ryan, Audrey, Maddux, Rory, Bentley, Anthony, Lizzy, Maddy, Hudson, Katie, Morgan, Cecelia and Jorgie; dear sister of Pat (Donna) Fahey, Peggy Leonard, Charleen (Frank) Frederick; aunt of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, Robert; parents, Martin and Catherine Fahey; sister, Carol Wallace; son-in-law, Anthony Pozzie; grandson, Matthew Casey.

Visitation, Friday, September 6, from 3 PM until 9 PM at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave. (Rte. 176), Crystal Lake. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, September 7, at 10 AM at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 451 W Terra Cotta Ave, Crystal Lake. Interment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery. Please meet at the cemetery office by 12:30 PM.
