Mary Watts

Mary Watts, a.k.a. Mimi, 67, passed away suddenly but peacefully on June 29, 2021.

She was born May 9, 1954, in Chicago, Illinois to Ed and Lorraine Watts. Mary grew up in Chicago and received her marketing degree from DePaul University.

Mary is survived by her children: Natalie (Hermes) Chafton and Katie (Hermes) Crylen, and her three grandchildren: Chelsea, Charlotte and Lily.

Mary was a truly devoted grandmother who will be greatly missed but always treasured. Mary touched a lot of lives with her outgoing and confident spirit; friends, family & acquaintances alike will miss her dearly. She was a ball of boundless energy; always planning her next adventure. A good book or a good cocktail were about the only things she sat still for.

To start her next adventure, a celebration of life is being planned for the coming weeks and will be announced when finalized.
