Michael Charles Kierig

Michael Charles Kierig, 32, currently of Longmont, CO passed away on July 9, 2021.   He was born in Barrington on November 25, 1988, to Paul and Laura (Kapros) Kierig.

Michael grew up in Tower Lakes.  He graduated from Barrington High School in 2007 and from the University of Colorado in Denver in 2012.  He truly loved the outdoors and all that Colorado had to offer with swimming, biking, camping and hiking.  Michael was an avid gardener and a collector of gems and crystals.

Along with his parents, Michael is survived by his brother, David Kierig.

A service will be held at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 337 Ridge Rd, Barrington Hills, on Saturday, July 31st, at 2:00 pm.
