Michael Dale Neenan

Michael Dale Neenan, age 78, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 30, 2023.

Michael was born in Chicago IL, on March 30, 1944. He worked in the printing industry and owned a printing company, but his favorite job was in retirement, where he drove his beloved grandchildren to school and their many activities. He loved hunting on the weekends with his dog, son, grandsons, and friends. He loved his group trips to Europe and his annual German Parties. Michael enjoyed anything his grandchildren enjoyed such as sports, dance, fishing. He loved life to the fullest and brought sunshine into everyone he met.

Michael is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Patricia Neenan (nee Martinski); his loving children, Daniel (Julie) Neenan, and Michelle (Alex Robles) Neenan; his loving grandchildren, Kyle, Abby, Zach and McKenna; his sisters Bonnie and Kathy; his sister-law Janice (Larry) Ekstrom; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Virginia Neenan; and brother, Thomas.

A visitation for Michael will be held on Friday, February 3, 2023, from 4pm-8pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 149 W. Main Street (Lake-Cook Road), Barrington, IL 60010. A second visitation will be held the following morning at St. Anne Catholic Community, 120 N Ela Road, Barrington, IL from 9:30am until the time of mass at 10:30am.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Michael's name to Citizens for Conservation , 459 West IL Rt. 22, Barrington, IL 60010.
