Raul Orozco Carbajal was born November 29, 1953 in Jalisco, Mexico.   Raul was the second oldest brother out of eleven siblings. In 1972, Raul met the love of his life Mary Parliman and with the tremendous love they had for each other they married and lived in Mexico City. That incredible love changed his life forever and in 1975 he decided to move to the United States and start a new life. During his journey he was a member of Alcoholics Anonymous for 41 years. He was an incredible sponsor to others in the program and helped so many people on their journey to sobriety. Raul was an inspiration too so many, he had a charismatic character and embraced everyone he met with open arms and a loving heart. After 47 wonderful years of marriage on November 17, 2020 surrounded by his loving wife and three children our adored and loving Raul, Husband, Father, Brother, Uncle and Cousin passed away.

Raul is survived by his wife of 45 years, Mary; children, Laura Eloisa Orozco, Paul Antonio (Abby Hainzinger) Orozco, and Olivia Elizabeth (Andrew Flores) Orozco; grandchildren, Kiara, Carmela, Jarod, and Sofia; and siblings, David (Lilia) Orozco, Irene (Late Luis) Orozco, Griselda Orozco, Ismael Orozco, Everado Orozco, Juan Carlos (Angelica) Orozco, Pilar Orozco, and Eloisa (Javier) Orozco.  He was preceded  in death by his parents, Domingo and Consuelo Orozco; sister, Leticia Orozco; brother, Juan Carlos Orozco; grandchildren, Donovan Flores-Orozco, Jack Gelb, Charlotte Flores-Orozco, Magnolia Flores-Orozco, Gabriel Orozco; and nephews, Christopher and Uriel Orozco.

Visitation will be 1pm until the funeral service at 3pm Saturday, November 21 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave (Route 176), Crystal Lake.  Interment will be private.

Attendees are required to wear a mask while visiting and are asked to maintain social distance.

Memorials to the family would be appreciated.

Raúl Orozco Carbajal, se nació en Jalisco Mexico, el 29 de Noviembre el año 1953.

Él fue el segundo hermano mayor de 11 hermanos. David Orozco, Irene Orozco, Griselda Orozco,   Ismael Orozco, Everardo Orozco, Juan Carolos Orozco, Eloísa Orozco y Pilar Orozco.

En 1972, conoció el amor de su vida Mary Parliman y con ese gran amor que tuvieron casaron y vivieron en México. Ese gran amor cambio su vida para siempre y en el año 1975 él se mudó a los Estados Unidos para empezar su propia vida. Durante este tiempo fue miembro de la programa Alcólicos Anónimos por 41 años. Ayudo mucha gente durante ese tiempo. Durante este tiempo tuvo tres hijos; Laura Eloísa Orozco, Paul Antonio Orozco, Olivia Elizabeth Orozco y 4 nietos. Kiara, Carmela, Jarod y Sofía.

El 17 de Noviembre rodeado de su amada esposa y sus hijos, nuestro querido y amado Raúl Orozco Carbajal falleció. Esposo, Padre, Abuelo, Hermano, Tío y Primo.

Él Fue Precedido en la muerte por sus padres Domingo Orozco Olivarez y Consuelo Orozco Carbajal y su hermano Juan Carolos Orozco Carbajal y Leticia Orozco Carbajal y por sus nietos; Gabriel Orozco, Jack Thomas Gelb, Donovan Flores Orozco, Charolette Flores Orozco, Magnolia Flores Orozco y ultimo sobrinos Christopher Orozco y Uriel Orozco.

El Horario de visita el Sabado 21 de Noviembre desde las 13:00horas hasta el funeral a las 15:00horas.
