Sally S. Deniston, 78, of North Barrington passed away peacefully at home with her devoted husband by her side on October 2, 2021. She was born on July 7, 1943 in Chicago, IL to the late Walter and Stella (nee Bingham) Swigart.

Sally was a member of the Daughters of the British Empire, Questers Club, Country Home and Garden Club, and Book Club.

Sally will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 44 years, John Cifonelli; children, Courtenay Deniston, Jonathan (Alexandra) and David (Kaela) Cifonelli; grandchildren, Richard Fisher, Augustus, Andreas, Auden and Montgomery Cifonelli; her siblings, Donna Bekooy of Portland, OR and Robert (Mel) Swigart of Mesa, AZ; nephew, Cory Jucius; nieces, Carol Hilker, Kelly Basile and Jennifer Kandra.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Carol (nee Swigart) Hilker.

A visitation for Sally will be held from 4 PM until 8 PM on Friday, October 8, 2021 Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 149 W. Main Street (Lake-Cook Rd) Barrington, IL 60010. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Saturday, October 9, from 10 AM until the time of service at 11 AM. Burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Barrington.
