Terrence "Terry" Domin

Terrence L. Domin, 74, of Lake in the Hills, passed away Monday, November 29, 2021. He was born in Chicago on May 21, 1947 to Stanley and Eleanor (Lee) Domin.

Terry graduated from St. Viator High School in Arlington Heights. He then attended Loyola University and graduated with a BA in Mathematics.

On November 1, 1969, Terry married his high school sweetheart, Marie Sidor.   After living in Skokie, they settled in Crystal Lake where they raised their two children, Blake and Bryn. He was always there for them as their biggest fan and never missed being on the sidelines for any of their sporting events.

Terry’s family meant the world to him and he was always so proud of them. Somehow, he managed to be everywhere, all the time. He was always available to help where he was needed at any given time. When he was around his grandchildren, his face would light up. He had the biggest smile and even bigger heart. His positive attitude and personality would rub off on those around him.

Terry worked for over 40 years in the healthcare industry at medical device companies including Baxter Travenol, Smith Laboratories, and was co-founder of UroQuest Medical.

Survivors include his loving wife, Marie; children, Blake (Ashley) Domin and Bryn (Jason DiPietro) Domin; his three grandchildren, Carson, Saylor and Tessa Domin; siblings, Douglas (Vicki) Domin; brother-in-law, Greg (Gail) Sidor; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 4, from 5pm until the time of a service at 8pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake.
