Ubaldo Ortega Sierra, 75, of Woodstock passed away on October 2, 2021. He was born and raised in Toluca, Mexico; the son of Felix Ortega and Hermila Sierra.
As a teen, he loved traveling while working in construction where he stared his own company. He married Juanita and raised a family. They moved to Woodstock in 2000.
A man of high integrity yet humble, Ubaldo will be sadly missed by his wife of 49 years, Juanita Vazquez; children, Jasmin (Roger) Schroeder, Efrain Ortega and Paola (Patrick) Spanbauer; and grandchildren, Mariel J. Chimal and Ethan J. Spanbauer.
A mass will be held at 1:00pm at St. Mary Catholic Church, 312 Lincoln Ave, Woodstock, IL with a visitation to begin at 10:00am.
