Vivian Hansen

Vivian Hansen, 89, of Lake Zurich, Il, died peacefully May 8, 2023, at her beloved home that she lived in for 69 years. She was married to her husband, Norman, for over 50 years when he passed away October 25, 2004. They had two children Patricia (Edward) Ditkoff and James Norman Hansen. She had 4 granddaughters and 6 great-grandchildren.

Vivian and Norman loved taking many weekends and extended vacation trips to their Wisconsin cabins, especially the cabin on the Menominee River which they built themselves. When at their Lake Zurich home they spent their mornings drinking coffee on the patio that Norman designed and constructed.

She was always happy in her yard gardening and playing with her many Labradors. She had 6 Labradors throughout the years.
Vivian enjoyed spending time with family and her many friends. She was also always available for a lively bridge game.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your local animal rescue organization.

To honor Vivian’s wishes, there will be no services at this time.
