Warren E. Pohl

Warren E. Pohl, 68, of Crystal Lake passed away peacefully on April 1, 2020. Warren was born on January 31, 1952 in Staten Island, NY to John and Anne Madory Pohl.

Warren attended University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, IA where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology. Warren retired from Sears Holdings Corporation in Hoffman Estates, IL where he was Manager of Learning Systems and Operations. Prior to that he had been Manager of Instructional Design and Learning Technology for U.S. Cellular in Chicago, IL. Warren was a lifelong musician, playing with many bands both in Iowa after graduating high school and the Chicagoland area. His recent passion was time devoted to Musicians On Call bringing live music to the bedsides of patients in healthcare facilities.

Warren will be deeply missed by his loving wife, LuEllyn; and his beloved children Kristin Ann (fiancé, Mark Korso) of Mount Prospect, IL, Allison Michelle of Crystal Lake, IL. Warren also left behind, his mother, Anne M. Pohl of Mt. Lebanon, PA, and brothers John (Susan) J. Pohl II of Kingsland, GA; Christopher (Vicki) K. Pohl of Philadelphia, PA; and Brian G. Pohl of Scott Township, PA. as well as many nieces and nephews and his extended family of musicians. He was preceded in death by his father, John J. Pohl 1990.

Services for Warren will be held at a later date.
